The union Alturas e.V. exists since 1989 and organizes Tours
of latin american artists in Germany, designs and schedules musical productions
and hosts events of latin american music. Most of the concerts are held in
their own Havanna - Café Latino, wich is situated in the 'Kulturzentrum
Tempel' in Karlsruhe. They also have different annual events. There is Fiesta
Latina in May, since 14 years the first one in Germany with this trademark, and
since two years they have 'Festival Latino', too.
There have been some
well-known salsa artist with them. Among others Los Van Van, Sierra Maestra,
Septeto Nacional Ignacio Piñeiro, Raison. |
